Project Developer Solar & BESS (m/w/d)

One of our international partners, a well-established solar and battery storage project developer, is currently expanding their German team. With a track record that spans multiple continents and over a decade of successful project delivery, the company is deeply invested in driving Germany’s clean energy transformation.
To support their ongoing growth, we’re looking for a Project Developer Solar & BESS (m/w/d) with a hands-on mentality and passion for renewables.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of new solar and BESS projects from the earliest stages all the way through to construction readiness. That includes:
- Identifying new sites and development opportunities
- Engaging with landowners, local stakeholders, and authorities
- Leading contract negotiations and securing land rights
- Overseeing the permitting process and coordinating with planning consultants and external partners
- Preparing project documents and investment memos for internal decision-making
- Acting as the link between internal teams (engineering, legal, sales) and project execution
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who combines project know-how with commercial intuition and a genuine drive for the energy transition:
- Background in renewable energy, environmental science, agriculture, urban planning or similar
- Several years of experience in project development or land acquisition in Germany
- Solid understanding of permitting and planning processes
- Excellent communication skills and an independent work style
- Business-fluent German and strong English skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
